LiftingMotion offers many accessories to accommodate specific applications. It includes handwheels, motors, motor adaptors, rotary limit switches, worm gear reducers, miter gear boxes, couplers, shafting, screw end adapters, pillow blocks, rotary limit switches, electrical controls, and boots.

A handwheel is a convenient solution for manually operating a machine screw jack when using them in intermittent positioning applications. Handwheels are available in a range of diameters from 100mm to 400mm and can be adapted for use on a screw jack up to the 20-ton capacity.

NOTE: Handwheels do not include a brake and therefore are not for use with ball screw jacks. When using handwheels with a jack that can back drive (12:1 and lower) an additional locking mechanism may be required to prevent “creep”.

LiftingMotion connecting shafts are typically used in jacks systems and match perfectly with jacks and couplings. The connecting shafts transfer the torque from the motor to the screw jack or from screw jack to screw jack. Our standard connecting shaft is made from #45 steel plating chrome and ends machines to standard keyways for couplings fitting. SS304, SS316 material is also available.

LiftingMotion universal joint is a mechanical device that allows two shafts not in line( offset) with each other limited freedom of movement in any direction whilst transmitting rotary and torque. It is an ideal form of couplings every two shafts by universal joints when offset is unavoidable in simultaneously lifting twin screw jack system or multiple screw jack system.

Pillow block bearings are greased-sealed deep groove ball bearings and various shapes of the bearings seat combination of high-precision components products. The pillow block bearing is a very important component in our screw jack system. The pillow block bearings provide radial support for applications that require longer lifting screws and longer connecting shafts.

When a bellows boot is ordered for a jack, the closed height dimensions may change. When ordering a bellows boot for an inverted jack, you need to consider the closed height of the bellows boots and structure thickness. Usually, under fully retracted, the bellows boots closed height =0.15* traveling strokes. For example, upright mounting, request 1000mm stroke, plus rubber bellows closed height 0.15*1000=150mm. So need to order at least 1150 mm stroke with rubber bellows.

Flange blocks are important components to operate with nut traveling type screw jacks. The Flange blocks lock on to the end of the rotating screw, and can then be bolted onto the machine or fixture. This ensures that the load being carried by the screw jack’ lifting nut is properly guided. Flange blocks include self-aligning replaceable bearings that are pre-lubricated, they are suitable for use under normal duty operation.
